Retired NBA All-Star turned coach Reggie Theus has been named to the dual role of Athletic Director and Men's Basketball Coach for Bethune-Cookman University. During his NBA playing career, Theus scored over 19,000 points and had over 6,000 assists. Theus will be overseeing the Wildcats' vast athletic programs.

Godwin Owinje was a junior college All-American, averaging 24 points and 16 rebounds at Bismarck (ND) State, along with a pair of conference MVP titles and consecutive entries to the conference's all-academic team. Presently Mr.Owinge puts on many hats; he is a College Basketball Scout, International Basketball Scout for the Detroit Pistons, NBA Advance Scout, NBA Personnel Scout, Basketball Camp Organizer, Basketball Coach, and Sports Manager.
Chris Pompey earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984, where he was a member of the Panthers football team (running back/wide receiver). He played alongside future Hall of Famers Dan Marino, Ricky Jackson, Russ Grimm, and Chris Doleman. Pompey went on to earn a master's degree in Sports Management from the California University of PA. Recognized by Basketball Times as one of the top Assistant Basketball Coaches in the Country, Chris Pompey is currently the associate head basketball coach at Bethune-Cookman University, with 21 years of collegiate coaching experience, most recently spending four seasons at Southern Utah, where he was a part of the 2020-21 Big Sky championship team.
